Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (40 hours per week)
Every other holiday required
Position Summary:
The Kitchen Aide / Pot & Utility Receiver plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environment. This position is responsible for handwashing pots, pans, and utensils, completing assigned sanitation duties, and supporting proper receiving, handling, and storage of food service supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of sanitation within the Food Service Department
- Handwash all pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment
- Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation duties in accordance with department standards
- Assist with the proper receiving of food service supplies
- Ensure correct handling and storage of food and kitchen supplies
- Follow sanitation, safety, and infection control guidelines at all times
- Support kitchen operations as needed to ensure efficient meal service
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen equipment or supplies
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Reliable and able to work scheduled hours, including every other holiday
- Prior food service or sanitation experience preferred, but not required
