- Night Shift, Full Time (36 hours per week) or Part-Time (24 hours per week)
Job Summary
- Provides professional nursing care as determined by the needs of the resident and their plan of care, including but not limited to: dispensing medications, administering treatments, documentation, performing assessments and diagnosing health status problems of residents.
- Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Assures quality of care by direct observation and resident visits to ensure nursing care plan followed and medications/treatments administered in accordance with MD/NP orders.
- Timely and accurately administers medications and treatments within their scope of practice.
- Orders medications from the pharmacy, keeping medication carts stocked and ready for the next shift's dispensing.
