Sr. Dispatcher

Position Summary

This position's daily responsibilities include managing drivers, oversee customer deliveries along with tracking equipment.

Essential Functions

• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers
• Lead and mentor dispatching staff
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets
• Communicate with shippers and 3PL's
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, customer request and communication between team members
• Monitor web portals and input necessary information
• Using TMW Dispatch system
• Daily tracking of all chemical trailers
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members
• Work in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor Degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience
• Excellent conflict resolution and skills
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and ability to use Word and Excel
