The Sales Representative will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to understand application requirements, provide technical product solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the company's strategic sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales plans.
- Develop relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.
- Work with engineering and supply chain personnel at key accounts to design in KEMET and gain approval on AVL/BOM’s.
- Train distribution on all KEMET/YAGEO products.
- Keep management informed of trends in market and advise any adverse issues which may impact ability to reach agreed upon goals.
- Support Pricing Analyst with major RFQs.
- Build intra-company teamwork between Customer Service/Production and the needs of the customer.
- Assess marketplace for vulnerabilities in development of targeted Customer opportunities.
- BS in Electronic Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiently
- Minimum 3 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated track record of growth and interested in building upon their successful track record in sales
- Must be experienced with solutions-based selling and approach to solving customer’s problems
- Milpitas, CA – United States
- Travel - 25%
- Exempt - The salary range for this role is up to $140,000, based on experience.
