Summary
We are currently seeking a Ceramic Innovation Center (CIC) Process Technician in Simpsonville, SC. This position involves processing support and technician support for 2 steps of the process used in the development of ceramic capacitors for electronic applications. These process steps are Termination and Testing of the ceramic capacitors on our development line.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing of capacitors through termination area includes operating equipment that adds termination on to the components followed by firing of paste through a specialized kiln.
- Conducts testing capacitors on various types of test equipment.
- Conducts physical measurements and inspections on capacitors.
- Maintain accurate records of processing information manually or in designated software.
- Working with Development Team to troubleshoot processing or equipment issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and/or repair on process equipment if applicable.
- Support of documentation for process areas such as procedure training, documents, and manufacturing instruction documents.
- Support quality improvement activities where applicable.
- Minimum High School Diploma, Associates Degree in Technical field would be a plus.
- Experience in Manufacturing and/or Lab environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, & Teams.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical repair is a plus.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member where needed.
- Important to be well organized and efficient at managing your time.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to move materials of weight 1 to 10 lbs.
