Role Description

This is an on-site, part-time position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Kemah Palms Recovery, located in Kemah, TX. The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing recovery treatments. Key responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient health, assisting with medical detoxification, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure individualized care plans are implemented effectively. The role requires compassionate patient interaction and attention to detail to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Texas
• Proficiency in administering medications and monitoring patient vital signs
• Experience with medical detox protocols and addiction treatment programs
• Strong communication and documentation skills for patient records and team collaboration
• Understanding of standards of care for substance abuse and dual-diagnosis recovery
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations with excellent decision-making skills
• Basic life support (BLS) and CPR certification
• Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or related healthcare environments is a plus
