Responsibilities:
- Perform energization, commissioning, parameter configuration, and grid connection testing of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Configure system parameters and support system startup activities.
- Execute integration and functional testing for PCS, BMS, and EMS systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions on-site.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test documentation, and technical records.
- Collaborate with clients, EPC contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Travel across the United States for project assignments.
Education or Desired Licenses and Certificates:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of energy storage safety standards and software commissioning.
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to travel for project work.
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and effective in a technical team environment.
