We are seeking an organized Dental Receptionist with great attention to detail to join our dental team! Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Schedule appointments accurately using Curve dental practice management software
- Verify insurance coverage, and patient information
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills
- Collect and process payments and balance daily
- Maintain accurate and organized dental records and medical files in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with insurance verification and claims submission
- Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry and a neat work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist with clinic or dental office experience
- Strong knowlege of dental management software is highly desirable
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software
- Knowledge of dental terminology, dental billing procedures, and health information management standards
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines with high attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior dental experience is preferred; familiarity with insurance verification processes is advantageous
