What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
- Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently and extend equipment life.
- Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of HVAC platforms.
- Replace or repair components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
- Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
- Keep clients and team members informed on service findings and recommended next steps.
- Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy.
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification preferred.
- 4 years of experience in a commercial HVAC service role.
- Hands-on experience with RTUs, VRV/VRF, VAV, split systems, chillers, boilers, and AHUs.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communicator with solid customer service instincts.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
- NATE certification or equivalent.
- Experience with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms.
- Up to $55/hour based on experience and qualifications.
