What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections to sustain system performance and extend equipment life.
- Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across HVAC systems.
- Repair or replace worn or failed components — motors, compressors, fans, thermostats, and more.
- Work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Keep customers and teammates up to date on service findings and recommendations.
- Log all work accurately, including tasks completed, parts installed, and observed system conditions.
- Follow applicable safety standards, building codes, and internal company policies on every job.
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification preferred.
- 4 years in an HVAC service technician role or closely related position.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
- Ability to read and apply blueprints and technical documentation.
- Methodical troubleshooter with solid problem-solving instincts.
- Effective communicator with strong customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- NATE certification or comparable credential.
- Commercial HVAC experience.
- Comfort with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms.
