We’re hiring sushi chefs at our Town & Country and South Tampa location.
The interview
If you’ve made sushi professionally, we’ll bring you in. You’ll roll, make nigiri, and cut sashimi. Bring your own knives if you have them.
What you’ll do
- Nigiri, sashimi, and rolls to our spec
- Daily prep — everything that gets the line ready for production, including setup and breakdown
- Keep your station clean and organized
- Raw fish handling, time and temperature control
- Work with the sushi and kitchen team through service
What we’re looking for
- You’ve worked a sushi line before. This isn’t a role where we teach you the basics.
- Speed, consistency, and cleanliness once service picks up
- Reliable and professional
- Nights, weekends, and holidays — that’s where the hours are
Schedule
Full-time with open availability is what we’re after, and it gives you the best shot. Part-time considered.
Pay and perks
- Weekly pay
- Weekly sushi tip pool after two weeks — tips add about $1.25 per hour on top of wages
- Free meal on doubles, discounted meal on single shifts
