Senior Project Manager – Cloud Migration

Job Summary

Our client, a leading healthcare & life sciences provider, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale enterprise cloud transformation initiative focused on data center exit and AWS cloud migration. This role will lead planning, execution, and delivery across multiple parallel migration workstreams while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure successful workload cutovers and execution rigor.

This is a 10-month contract position (07/13/2026 – 05/31/2027) based in Wayzata, MN, following a hybrid schedule (2–3 days onsite per week). This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting for enterprise cloud migration initiatives
• Manage multiple migration workstreams executing in parallel through Agile sprint cycles
• Coordinate workload cutovers from on-premise data centers to AWS cloud environments
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans across multiple business and technical stakeholders
• Drive schedule management, project communications, issue resolution, and executive reporting
• Partner with geographically distributed teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery
• Ensure strong governance, planning discipline, and execution rigor throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills / Experience (Must-Haves)

• 5 years of Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives
• Experience leading infrastructure, cloud migration, or enterprise application implementation projects
• Experience managing complex integrated project plans across multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication, organization, planning, and reporting skills
• Experience leading Agile or hybrid project delivery environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities
• Strong drive for results with excellent follow-through and accountability

Preferred Skills / Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience supporting AWS cloud migration initiatives
• Experience with Data Center Exit or infrastructure modernization projects
• Familiarity with SAFe or Kanban methodologies
• PMP Certification
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams
• Experience working within large enterprise organizations
• Experience coordinating workload cutovers and migration planning

Work Environment

• Location: Wayzata, MN
• Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $79.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
