Our client is seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Glendale, California.
Duties:
- Design, develop, and deploy software solutions that support visual effects artists, production teams, and executives in delivering creative projects efficiently
- Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and implement applications that enhance production workflows
- Work with fellow engineers to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences
- Work closely with team members to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences
- Participate in agile scrum processes, including prioritizing and estimating work through user stories
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, implementing effective defect fixes as needed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of industry experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS or similar front end framework
- Hands-on experience with source control and CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Experience working in agile development environments or cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with front-end performance optimization and responsive design best practices
- Familiarity with databases, including PostgreSQL
- Experience working with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS or Azure
- Hands-on experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
