Senior Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team! This position is located in New York, NY.

Duties

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright TypeScript, Selenium Java, Appium, Cypress, and other tools
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts in Java, JavaScript, and C#
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Conduct performance testing and provide infrastructure support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive resolution of issues
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team leadership
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report progress, risks, and quality metrics
• Support manual testing and articulate complex requirements for test case creation
  
  

Desired Skills/Experience

• 8 years of experience in test automation and quality engineering
• Strong experience with Playwright TypeScript, Selenium Java, and integration testing
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience
• Solid programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and C#
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration
• Strong manual testing and API testing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $29.99 - $42.85 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
