Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a IT Risk and Controls Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Chicago, Illinois.
Duties:
- Perform process walkthroughs and documentation
- Monitor risk and control gap identification
- Perform control design/testing discussions
- Collaborate with IT and second/third line risk stakeholders
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Strong understanding of IT Risk and Control Testing
- Experience with process documentation and walkthroughs
- Ability to assess and identify risks, suggest mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of control design and effectiveness testing
- SOX compliance familiarity
- Critical thinking and ability to work independently
- Comfortable being embedded in a 1st line of defense IT environment
- Excellent communication and ability to "read between the lines"
- Familiarity with GRC tools
- Experience with Tripwire, Varonis, or similar monitoring tools
- Prior experience in a highly regulated banking or financial environment

The approximate pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $70.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
