Remote Trade Operations Analyst

Starting Pay rate: 25.00/hr

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trade Operations Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will leverage Microsoft Excel and AI tools to streamline supplier solicitation and ensure accurate documentation for certificates of origin and duty mitigation. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates clearly, and efficiently manages multiple priorities.

About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trade Operations Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will leverage Microsoft Excel and AI tools to streamline supplier solicitation and ensure accurate documentation for certificates of origin and duty mitigation. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates clearly, and efficiently manages multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier solicitation requests, launching and tracking inquiries for metal content with internal sites, procurement teams, and suppliers.
- Review supplier submissions for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary documentation is received.
- Maintain and update the parts database alongside the broker as new information is collected.
- Compile and organize feedback from suppliers for internal business partners, supporting non-preferential country of origin solicitations.
- Visualize data and provide real-time updates on solicitation statuses, pending responses, and key metrics.
- Support email inbox management for trade operations inquiries, including data lookups in SAP and using Google for basic translation needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field; OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity with trade terms, such as Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Incoterms, and Country of Origin.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience using AI solutions is a plus.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and efficiently prioritize tasks.
