The bank is seeking an experienced Retail Risk Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of a next-generation Loss Forecast Platform supporting CCAR and internal loss forecasting processes. This role will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, risk management teams, and technology partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and analytically robust forecasting capabilities.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in retail credit risk, regulatory stress testing, and agile product delivery, with the ability to translate complex regulatory and forecasting requirements into actionable platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Loss Forecast Platform in alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements
- Translate strategic objectives into detailed product requirements, epics, and user stories
- Conduct stakeholder engagement, market research, and opportunity analysis to identify enhancements and drive platform efficiency
- Leverage innovation opportunities, including AI-assisted tools, where appropriate
Requirements & Backlog Management
- Serve as the primary liaison across Risk, Finance, Technology, and Governance teams to capture and prioritize requirements related to CCAR, retail loss forecasting, and platform capabilities
- Maintain and prioritize a well-defined product backlog based on business value, regulatory urgency, and technical feasibility
- Lead workshops to clarify requirements and resolve process or data gaps
Platform Delivery & Agile Execution
- Partner closely with agile development teams through all stages of product delivery, from design through implementation and optimization
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support development teams with clear business guidance during sprint cycles
- Oversee user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory expectations
Regulatory Risk & Forecasting Expertise
- Apply deep knowledge of retail credit risk frameworks, including CCAR, DFAST, CECL, and model governance expectations
- Ensure platform functionality supports auditability, governance, model controls, and regulatory reporting standards
- Collaborate with model development and validation teams to integrate forecasting methodologies effectively
Stakeholder Communication & Governance
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on roadmap progress, delivery risks, and key decisions
- Drive alignment across business and technology teams while managing scope trade-offs effectively
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor platform performance, user adoption, and regulatory changes to drive continuous enhancement
- Promote data-driven product decisions using analytics and user feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
- 10 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or financial services transformation roles
- 5 years of direct experience supporting CCAR, DFAST, CECL, or related regulatory stress testing programs
- Proven success delivering complex technology platforms in agile environments
- Strong understanding of retail credit products and risk drivers
- Familiarity with forecasting concepts including PD, LGD, and EAD
- Experience with SQL, analytics environments, and large-scale data platforms preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $85 - $95
