Description:
The Senior Recruiter will partner with Human Resources generalists and managers to accomplish staffing goals for a select group of positions. You will lead the execution of full-cycle recruitment activities to acquire top talent and support Johnson & Johnson’s strategic objectives.
This position is open to candidates based in Tampa, FL (preferred) or in one of the following New Jersey locations: Titusville, Raritan, or New Brunswick.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop sources of qualified applicants for special assignments in addition to the normal client base.
Review and evaluate applications for work history, education and training, desired salary, and other skills and abilities to determine qualifications for employment; conduct interviews and administer assessments as needed.
Inform applicants about job duties, responsibilities, pay, benefits, hours, working conditions, company policies, and other relevant information.
Initiate job opening status reports to obtain approval to begin the employment process.
Work with management to confirm candidate selection and salary decisions.
Make offers to selected applicants and serve as the interface between management and applicants to reach offer acceptance.
Lead recruitment and selection projects, recommending changes to processes to improve the attraction and retention of highly qualified applicants.
Ensure compliance with local government regulations by administering employment practices within standard operating procedures and assisting junior staff.
Source leads proactively, utilizing a variety of techniques and resources including candidate database mining, referrals, extensive networking, and professional outreach.
Provide ongoing consulting value to clients to maximize search and recruitment efforts by staying current on industry trends and developments.
Manage and interpret talent data, combining internal metrics with external market insights.
Run recruitment reports, ensuring timely submission and adherence to service level agreements.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
Experience in high-volume recruitment for large-scale initiatives
Ability to work effectively in an agile environment, embrace new technologies, and handle multiple projects as well as daily ad-hoc operational activities
Strong business acumen across multiple fields and proven capability in recruiting for a wide variety of roles and levels in multiple functions
Strong skills in talent scouting, direct sourcing of candidates, assessing, hiring, and managing talent, as well as developing a high-performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline
Proficiency in the use of social media (i.e., LinkedIn/job boards) and software such as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; experience with Taleo or similar platforms
