Job Title: Quality Assurance TechnicianShift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMPay Rate: $18/hrEmployment Type: Temp-to-HireLocation: Romeoville, IL Key ResponsibilitiesConducted pre-operation inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with GMP standards.Ensured finished products met all quality and specification requirements.Identified discrepancies and notified appropriate personnel regarding GMP and HACCP violations.Performed CCP checks and metal detector verifications within required timeframes.Completed net-weight checks and verified ingredient usage according to Bill of Materials (BOM).Verified accuracy, legibility, and compliance of product labeling.Accurately completed all required daily QA documentation.Assisted QA team members and collaborated with Operations to resolve food safety and quality issues.Supported QA Supervisor/Manager with special projects as assigned.Maintained compliance with USDA guidelines and customer requirements.Reported any food safety or quality concerns, risks, or out-of-spec materials promptly to leadership. Food Safety & Quality ComplianceAdhered to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including proper hygiene and handwashing procedures.Followed all USDA and internal food safety protocols.Reported any unsafe, non-conforming, or compromised products, equipment, or raw materials immediately.
