This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and a commitment to delivering timely, compliant payroll services to our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process payroll on a biweekly basis for 200 employees.
- Review and verify timesheets, earnings, deductions, and other payroll-related data.
- Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, tax information, and direct deposit details.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and relevant agencies.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on payroll-related matters.
- Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 distribution and tax filings.
- Other duties assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software; experience with Paylocity strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
- High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Part-time -24 hours per week. Flexible schedule may be available, but payroll deadlines must be met.
- $35-$40/hr.
