Shift Information:
- Monday & Tuesday: Start time is 6:30am (when payroll is run as a team)
- Wednesday–Friday: Flexible shift start time
- Processing and analyzing time, earnings, and deductions/withholdings on a weekly basis to ensure accurate net pay in compliance with union contracts and company policies
- Independently analyzing and resolving complex payroll issues as they arise
- Communicating with employees of various levels regarding payroll questions, processes, and training
- Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with team members, unit partners, and other key functional areas
- Possess a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Have strong analytical skills and experience with complex data analysis
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities
- Are able to quickly learn and adapt to multiple payroll and IT software systems
- Approach change with a positive mindset and are proactive in identifying process improvements
- Are experienced with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Can handle confidential information with maturity and professionalism
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting discipline, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax processes
- Proficiency with SAP and IBM/Host applications such as TSO and RMDS
- Experience maintaining confidential information
