Job Summary:
We are currently hiring for a Material Handler / Forklift Operator position in Salisbury, NC. This role requires prior forklift experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable performing both forklift and general material handling duties throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely to move materials, products, and supplies throughout the facility
- Load, unload, stage, and organize materials as needed
- Assist with general warehouse and production support tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
- Lift up to 35 lbs as needed
Requirements:
- Must have previous forklift experience
- Must be able to work 2nd shift, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, plus overtime as needed
- Must be dependable and report to work as scheduled
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 lbs
- Warehouse, production, or material handling experience preferred
- Must be safety-minded and able to follow instructions
