These roles support Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) production operations and involve tagging horseshoe crabs for the US Fish & Wildlife Service. Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM until finished (usually 4:00–4:30 PM)

Primary Role Responsibilities
- Assist with horseshoe crab blood collection per SOPs: preparing the collection area, cleaning and handling crabs, aseptic blood collection, and post-collection sanitation.
- Support laboratory processing: centrifuging, pipetting, sonication, solution preparation, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Safely and aseptically handle filled and unfilled collection bottles in biosafety cabinets.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Clean and maintain lab and production equipment.
- Apply US Fish & Wildlife Service tags to crabs.
- 1–2 years of experience in a production or lab environment preferred, or a high school diploma.
- Ability to follow written instructions and protocols.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; exemplary attendance.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
