Job Description
- Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of academic, student, and registration records.
- Provides final grade processing support including missing grade reports, grade changes, audit, and incomplete grade entry and expiration maintenance.
- Processes withdraw with documentation
- Reviews and processes residency appeals
- Primary point of contact for escalated registration inquiries including special programs and Dual Enrollment.
- Degree Audit processes related to course substitutions and overrides
- Is responsible for enrollment reporting and subsequent error correction to the National Student Clearinghouse, PA Department of Education, and other external agencies; also fulfills some internal reporting.
- Responsible for the graduation application process and communication to potential graduates; and fulfills replacement diploma requests
- Manages registration set-up including waitlist permissions; requisite mismatch; enters the registration calendar in Colleague; and manages related communications to students.
- Assists in the management of registration webpages and student portal pages.
- Serves as the main point of contact to resolve student and staff inquiries for the Records and Registration Office. Education/Training/Work Experience:
- Minimum associate’s degree, bachelor’s preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in higher education administration; 3 years’ experience with associate’s degree.
- Proficiency in the use of Colleague Student Information System a plus
- Excellent computer and technical skills, critical thinking skills, analytic skills, strategic development skills
- Strong interpersonal / collaborative skills with a demonstrated track record of working as part of a team
- Work independently with minimal oversight
- A strong student advocate and a strong team leader.
- Commitment to student success through access, progression, completion, and career placement or transfer outcomes.
- Possess strong personal qualities of honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, initiative, flexibility, and creativity.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships.
- $29 - $30/hr
- 1 round of interviews
- Some experience in Higher Education, preferably Registrar’s Office or Student Services
- At least at associate degree
- Above average Computer and technical Skills
- Ability to work is a fast-paced environment
- Colleague Student Information System experience
- 3 years or more experience in higher education
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Monday-Friday
- Friday will be remote.
- Prefer in-person but can accommodate virtual.
- Mostly administrative data entry work, answering questions, etc.
