Accounting Clerk

Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist! Located in a thriving corporate environment, this full-time position offers you the chance to play a crucial role in our Corporate Tax Department. You will perform essential data entry tasks, process billing and payroll transactions, and contribute to tax planning projects. Job Specifications

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Location: Portage, MI - Onsite
• Pay Rate: $21.43 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Duration: 6 months
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Perform data entry related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Review and process billing and payroll transactions.
• Code invoices to appropriate accounts.
• Prepare periodic reconciliation reports.
• Post cash receipts accurately.
• Assist with general bookkeeping tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Tax Department to assist in the tax return process.
• Support tax planning projects as needed.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong aptitude for accounts receivable and payable.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
