Account Executive - Credit & Collections

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Credit & Finance team. This role is responsible for managing an assigned Accounts Receivable portfolio, reducing delinquency, resolving customer disputes, and maintaining strong customer relationships while protecting the company's financial interests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Manage and prioritize an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.

• Contact customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to secure payment commitments on delinquent accounts.
• Document all collection activities, customer communications, and follow-up actions in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Maintain professional customer relationships while utilizing strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Coordinate collection efforts with internal departments when necessary.
• Consistently work toward achieving departmental goals.
• Identify, document, and track customer invoice disputes.
• Collaborate with departments as needed to investigate and resolve disputed items.
• Escalate collection concerns, account risks, or customer issues to management as appropriate.

Qualifications

·       Minimum of 2 years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.

• Associate’s degree preferred.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook

• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·       Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience in equipment rental, construction industries, with knowledge of construction lien laws and Notice to Owner (NTO) requirements a plus.
