Title: Java Software Engineer
Location: Urbandale, IA,50322 (Onsite)
Duration: Until Oct/2027
W2 Contract (No C2C)
Pay rate: $64 to $71 per hour
We'd like someone who can be on site in Urbandale 3 days a week (T/W/TH). Worker should be comfortable working in a paired programming environment and be an excellent communicator. High priority given to soft skills such as communication, self-driven and self-motivated.
Works on a product team and supports product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the complete product or products it supports.
- Most important technical skills are Java and AWS.
- (4 - 7 years) Experience in programming/software development (Java (90%), NodeJS (8%), Scala (2%))
- (4 - 7 years) Product design, test and/or analysis experience
- (4 - 7 years) Experience hosting services in AWS cloud technologies
- (4 - 7 years) Ability to manage many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment
- (4 - 7 years) Excellence in verbal and written communication forms with tact and negotiation
