Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary QA information resource for internal and external clients.
- Support the creation, execution, and maintenance of QA procedures.
- Provide timely QA guidance and solutions to internal and external clients.
- Investigate product quality and food-safety related inquiries.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Lead initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
- Ensure QA practices comply with regulatory, GFSI, and customer requirements.
- Provide QA support for external audits and inspections.
- Oversee maintenance of approved specifications.
- Lead and mentor assigned QA staff.
- Create detailed reports and lead QA discussions.
- Provide training to personnel as needed.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years QA experience in food manufacturing.
- HACCP certification.
- PCQI certification.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to report to any company facility as needed, sometimes with same-day notice.
