Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline
- 5 years of experience in maintenance, project engineering, or manufacturing support
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA)
- Experience with pressure vessels, valves, Oil & Gas preferred
Job Summary:
What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintenance Support & Field Troubleshooting
- Provide technical guidance and vendor coordination when equipment performance concerns arise.
- Participate in equipment walkdowns, failure follow-ups, and troubleshooting activities under the direction of operations and maintenance leadership.
Maintenance Planning & Work Coordination
- Define job packages, materials, and contractor requirements for maintenance projects.
- Support scheduling, job readiness checks, and post-maintenance reviews to improve future execution.
- Maintain accurate equipment records and technical documentation.
Materials, Contracting & Vendor Interface
- Support spare part confirmations, vendor recommendations, and material substitutions.
- Obtain vendor quotes, provide technical clarification, and track delivery needs for planned work.
Capital & Infrastructure Support
- Provide engineering review and field support for small maintenance-driven capital upgrades or replacements.
- Assist with Management of Change (MOC) documentation and installation validations when equipment or components are modified.
Maintenance Program Support
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PM task descriptions and compliance tracking.
- Document maintenance learnings and assist supervisors in identifying recurring issues requiring further technical evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline
- 5 years of experience in maintenance, project engineering, or manufacturing support
- Hands-on experience in an industrial environment preferred
Skills & Capabilities
- Ability to organize maintenance priorities and coordinate activities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with maintenance technicians, vendors, and operations teams
- Practical mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in the field
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order execution support
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
