Kelly’s Port Marina is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warranty & Billing Administrator to join our marine service team. This position is focused less on constant customer interaction and more on accurate documentation, warranty recovery, billing, and ensuring the company is properly paid for every repair performed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and manage manufacturer warranty claims
- Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
- Process customer, internal, and warranty billing
- Follow up on unpaid, delayed, or denied warranty claims
- Recover outstanding revenue owed to the company
- Audit technician notes, labor entries, parts usage, and supporting documentation
- Ensure warranty claims comply with manufacturer policies and deadlines
- Work with service advisors, technicians, parts personnel, and manufacturers to resolve claim issues
- Maintain organized warranty, billing, and repair-order records
- Identify missed billing opportunities and help improve departmental processes
- Track claims from submission through final payment

Experience and Qualifications
- Previous marine warranty experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with warranty processing, billing, accounting, invoicing, or office administration
- Marine, automotive, recreational vehicle, powersports, or dealership experience is a plus
- Experience reviewing repair orders and technician documentation is preferred
- Comfortable using computers, email, service-management software, and manufacturer warranty portals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and manufacturer requirements
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
