What’s a Typical Day Like as a Buyer?

In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of the company’s procurement efforts, ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Vendor/Supplier Management: Ensure delivery assurance and monitor vendor/supplier performance
• Purchase Order Management: Create, manage, and close POs; resolve price discrepancies
• Tactical Buying & Sourcing: Engage in effective procurement strategies to meet business needs; manage critical shortages in support of 100% on time delivery to customers
• Business Reporting Support: Provide timely and accurate support for business reporting requirements and deliverables.

The Buyer Role Might Be Perfect If You:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Operations
• Have experience using SAP or other ERP systems
• Have strong issue-resolution skills to handle vendor and customer interactions
• Are a collaborative team player, eager to take on leadership roles when necessary
