Duties
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, trusts, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail
- Manage legal case files for court compliance
- Assist with legal case management by organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and preparing materials for court filings or client meetings
- Maintain professional phone etiquette while handling inquiries from clients, vendors, or internal teams; coordinate communication efficiently
- Perform transcription of legal dictations
- Organize and maintain filing systems—both electronic and physical—to ensure quick retrieval of critical documents
- Provide comprehensive executive administrative support to senior attorney, including calendar management, and appointment setting
Skills
- Proven experience with legal administrative tasks such as document review, drafting contracts, proofreading materials and managing case files
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong typing skills
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence
- Superior proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all materials produced
- Exceptional clerical experience including filing, data entry, phone etiquette and administrative support functions
- Witnessing documents
- And notary skills are a bonus
