Be Part of a Fantastic Team Supporting an Active Teen with Autism (Potomac, MD – Part-Time)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Person to assist a young teenage girl with autism who is eager to stay active. She enjoys games, music, books, and walks, and we’re looking for someone who can provide guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support to help her participate in engaging activities that promote independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Build a Meaningful Connection – Establish a trusting and supportive relationship.
✅ Ensure Safety & Well-Being – Provide supervision and assistance during activities and outings.
✅ Plan & Teach Academic and Leisure Activities – Encourage participation in fun and stimulating adventures.
✅ Support Communication & Learning – Model language on her speech-generating device, prompt small steps towards a larger task, and and assist with independence skills and self-regulation.
✅ Encourage Social & Emotional Growth – Offer positive reinforcement and engage her in social interactions.

Schedule & Pay:
Part-time, hours will vary, up to 24 hours per week
- Weekdays: After school (4 PM – 6 PM) some late nights possible (until 9)
- Weekends: Saturday & Sunday (10 AM – 4 PM)
Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In-person – Potomac, MD 20854 -must have reliable transportation
Preferred Training:
⭐ RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is required
Teaching experience
⭐ Training provided to ensure success in the role.
