We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to help drive growth for our landscape and turf company. This role is focused on creating strategic partnerships, developing referral sources, expanding into new services and markets, and bringing in new clients.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who understands how to identify opportunities, develop new business, and support long-term company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with potential commercial and residential partners, clients, and other industry contacts
- Develop referral sources and strategic business relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Help expand the company into new services, service areas, and types of clients
- Generate leads and convert opportunities into new clients
- Represent the company professionally in meetings, networking events, and the community
- Work closely with leadership to support growth goals and market expansion
- Must be a self-motivated professional capable of developing and growing this new role within the company.

Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping and turf industry experience is necessary this role
- Ability to diagnose lawn and landscape issues in the field
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, or a similar role is required.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and turn them into business growth
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and how watering impacts turf and plant health
- Experience selling lawn care, landscaping, or property services
- You will need a vehicle that is neat, clean, and appropriate for professional business visits.
