We are hiring substitute teachers for the Hazelwood School District for the 26-27 school year! No previous experience is required!

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Build a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
• For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments

Requirements:

• Minimum education requirement of 36 college credit hours or High School Diploma and completion of substitute training course
• Kelly Education is currently offering the Substitute Training Course for $99 for those without 36 college credit hours
• Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) requirements & related fees for Substitute Teachers: https://dese.mo.gov/educator-quality/certification/substitute-teachers
