We are now hiring substitute teachers for Port Arthur Independent School District 2026-2027 School year . No previous experience is required!

Minimum requirements:

· 18 years of age

· HS Diploma/GED

· 30 hours of college credit (official transcripts required)

Pay Rate:

· $115.00/Day

Responsibilities:

· Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies

· Build a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students

· For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
