Duties
- Assemble, package, and label products accurately following established procedures and specifications
- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Inspect finished packages for quality, completeness, and compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Use forklifts and warehouse equipment to move raw materials and finished goods as needed
- Assist with inventory management by recording packaging activities and updating tracking systems
- Support assembly processes when required, ensuring seamless integration between packaging and manufacturing operations
Experience
- Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with packaging machinery is a plus
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment is advantageous
- Understanding of FDA regulations and CGMP standards relevant to pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is beneficial
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards
