What’s a typical day as a Refrigeration Technician You will:
Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia-based equipment, boilers, compressors, evaporators, and condensers, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
Performs daily system checks, scheduled preventive maintenance, filter changes, and system cleaning while leading team efforts to resolve mechanical issues and complete repairs or modifications to machinery, wiring, and piping.
Maintains compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, completes required documentation and logs, requisitions necessary parts and supplies, and ensures all work areas meet safety and housekeeping standards.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
Highschool Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of refrigeration maintenance or related experience required. Commercial HVAC experience required. Industrial experience preferred.
