Position Information:
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines to execute complex machining operations with precise tolerances and detailed finishes.
- Interpret blueprints and written instructions to ensure accurate programming and production processes.
- Configure tool arrangements, material clamping methods, and machine console settings for various milling, boring, threading, and contouring tasks.
- Operate and oversee multiple CNC units simultaneously, maintaining consistent output quality.
- Inspect machined parts to verify they meet all specifications and finish requirements.
- Apply expert knowledge of machining methods and manufacturing techniques specific to wood products.
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of CNC operation experience within the wood industry required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
