Our group of companies includes distribution, maintenance, repair and overhaul, and engineering & manufacturing divisions. We support legacy fixed and rotary wing aircraft including but not limited to F-5, T-38, F-16, F-15, F-18, C- 130, P-3, Boeing 707 derivatives and several rotary platforms. SUMMARY: Responsible for the receiving, inspection, and processing of Kellstrom Defense Aerospace purchase, repair, and sales orders. Ensure orders are inspected in accordance with company SOP Procedures and Industry Standards. Ensure products comply with customer quality requirements. Generate Certificates of conformance as required. Maintain accurate documentation retention through the use of an optical imaging system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receive and inspect all incoming orders, visually inspect parts and documentation against KDA purchase, repair, and sales order requirements.
· Inspect all outgoing orders, visually inspect parts documentation against customer purchase order requirements.
· Ensure all parts received match expected system PO & RO requirements. Correctly enter all information into our computer system.
· Inspect material for correct part number, serial numbers, nomenclature, condition, quantity, airworthiness documentation, and source docs
· Optically Image all receiving and outbound related documentation associated with the inspected material.
· Apply appropriate bar-code labels to packaged parts and ensure all required documentation accompanies parts.
· IT transfer part from receiving location to stock cart location.
· Review all repair orders and ensure material is repaired in accordance with applicable AD's and SB's, as required.
· Complete necessary documentation for exporting Class II parts, if required.
· Document all non-conformance of inbound or outbound orders, segregate non -conforming products.
· Maintain current knowledge of FAR’s and industry requirements.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Will not directly supervises employees within the department(s).
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree or higher in a related discipline preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years of Aviation Inventory or related Operations experience.
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
· Proficient knowledge with the use of computers and the following applications is required including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; and Internet Applications.
· Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, Technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
