Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including engines, powertrains, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Conduct engine repairs, including diesel engine work, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform vehicle maintenance, and system inspections to uphold safety and quality standards.
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams for complex electrical system troubleshooting and repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive engine systems, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, including ADAS calibration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Skilled in the use of automotive diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude with a focus on heavy lifting, vehicle systems inspection, alignment procedures, and engine repair.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Valid certification in automotive technology or equivalent training; ASE certification is a plus.
