Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, , pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately.
- Assist with stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and participate in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Use heavy equipment operation skills for materials handling tasks such as load & unload operations and construction-related tasks when necessary.
- Follow OSHA safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Valid certification for forklift operation, reach truck, crane operation, or other heavy equipment is highly preferred. but not mandatory
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and tools is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Experience with order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes, and using RF scanners or similar technology.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of packaging materials and techniques used in manufacturing or distribution environments.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
