Overview
We are seeking a Casual/Part Time Warehouse Worker (4-6 hours per week) to join our team at Just Cozy. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, lifting heavy boxes, supporting our local store manager with trips from the storage unit to either of two stores. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, and a commitment to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate a U-Haul 10-15ft trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Manage inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and order picking for either of two stores.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery to either of two stores
- Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling tasks while adhering to safety protocols;
- Stock shelves efficiently, organize warehouse space, and maintain cleanliness to facilitate smooth operations.
- Collaborate with local store manager and supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management and materials handling.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for warehouse environments.
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and load & unload activities.
