Food Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with detailed descriptions of food and beverages
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring proper entry and communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed, adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Support team members during busy periods, including night shifts or nightclub service when applicable

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality is preferred; experience with restaurant POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Experience with upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or evening shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or restaurant setting
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
• Ability to handle food safely and support food handling or preparation tasks when required

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
