Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Rate: $17.00 to $21.00
Job purpose
Examines and processes drivers’ daily logs and records to ensure compliance of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (part 395). Tracks daily driver violations and reports to compliance managers.
Duties and responsibilities
- ELD Management/Identification
- Driver Issues (actual device/software)
- Equipment Issues (actual device)
- Exemptions
- ELD Interaction:
- Log corrections
- Discrepancy identification
- Supporting paperwork verification
- Audit Fuel reports.
- Audit Toll receipts.
- Audit Supporting paperwork.
- Call drivers to request logs to upload.
- Filing daily paperwork
- Calling drivers on missing paperwork. Ex Fuel receipts/ tipsheets.
- Driver email/mailing
- Daily HOS checks and audits.
- Vinyl
- Making binders
- DMV travels for registration
- Issuing HOS and tracking points for all drivers.
- Notifying drivers and equipment owners of TMW expirations.
- Proficiently uses TMW, Motive
- Provides Professional Interface with Customers, Drivers & Carriers– always representing Page.
- Ride along with company driver, gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions.
- Regular Attendance & Punctuality
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Ability to learn applicable FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to learn to compute hours of service as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (part d 395).
- Ability to learn basic understanding of transportation equipment/terminology.
- Knowledge of U.S geography and map reading
- Organize and schedule workday independently.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and service attitude
- Knowledge of electronic logging systems, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, and working knowledge of Windows Operating System.
- Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to companies drug free workplace policies.
Physical requirements
- Physically fit and able to sit for long periods of time.
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs comfortably.
- Ability to sit, twist, turn, reach, and pull with comfort.
- Withstand areas of noise with provided hearing protection.
- Work in varying atmospheric weather and temperature conditions
