Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse. You will ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting our e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and stock locations.
- Perform picking and packing duties for outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move products as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably within a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Ability to operate an order picker or forklift safely (certification may be required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with Famous, Isolve or other warehouse management systems is required.
