Keene State College invites applications for s Information Systems Specialist
to provide technical support to the Registrar’s Office to facilitate Keene State’s transition to a new Student Information System (Workday) while adopting a new General Education program. This is a full-time benefited term position currently funded through June 2027.
This position will collaborate with the Registrar Specialist, Catalog and Curriculum Management and the Registrar’s Office Information Systems Specialist to complete tasks necessary to ensure completion of required work resulting in the timely, successful roll out of both the new program and the implementation of the new system. Daily work in the new system includes accurate creation and updating of information. Work in related systems, including the curriculum management tool, will also be required.

Compensation Pay Range
$47,920.00 - $85,410.00

Duties/Responsibilities

- To ensure a timely transition from Colleague to Workday Student, translate all currently programmed course prerequisites to be built as eligibility rules in new student information system, including those for the new General Education program, and build them in the new student information system while conducting data validation. Conduct testing to ensure accuracy.
- Update existing programs and courses and build new courses, including adjusting course prerequisites as necessary, in the current student information system (Colleague) and CIM (curriculum management tool) for timely transition to the new system (Workday) for Fall 2027 implementation.
- Build newly adopted grading scheme in both Colleague and CIM and apply in all courses and programs and reprogram grade requirements as necessary throughout existing curriculum to ensure timely transition to the new system (Workday) for Fall 2027 implementation.
- Collaborate with the Registrar Specialist, Catalog and Curriculum Management and the Information Systems Specialist to prioritize and complete tasks necessary to ensure completion of required work resulting in the timely, successful roll out of both the new program and the implementation of the new system.
- Bachelor’s degree 2 years of experience or Associate’s degree 4 years of experience
- Proven experience with databases, report writing, and/or programming
