It is the long-standing policy of the KSC Music Department to provide pianistic support to both vocal and instrumental majors for their Workshop Performances, and to provide support to all voice majors in Applied Lessons. The music faculty believe that collaboration between singer/instrumentalist and pianist on a regular basis contributes to the overall development and consistent progress of the music major. The pianist will also perform in Lessons, Auditions, Juries, and forward-facing events for the Music Department. They may also play rehearsals and concerts for choirs, chamber ensembles and large ensembles as needed. This is an open call for both vocal and instrumental specialty pianists.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform materials provided to support students and faculty
- Act as Rehearsal pianists for auditions, juries, lessons, and performances.
- Participate in appropriate department/unit meetings
- Abide with USNH and KSC policies
- Expertise in area of Music instrument specialty
- Experience as a collaborative pianist for singers and instrumentalists
- pianistic skill deemed acceptable by the Coordinator of Keyboard Studies
- Strong sight-reading skills, advanced level of keyboard skills, foundational understanding of accompanying vocalists, reliability, organization, professional work etiquette in voice lessons deemed acceptable by the Coordinator of Vocal Studies.
- knowledge of standard western classical vocal repertoire
- M.A. Music degree in collaborative piano, piano performance or equivalent professional experience
