Overview

Ensure mail is indexed appropriately in claims database and maintain files for the office. Maintain records of documents stored at off-site locations. Handle outgoing mail, file to match documents, and provide photocopies as instructed.

Keenan, an Accretive company, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts. Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

What You'll Do

• Sort and scan mail.
• Index mail to appropriate claim with claim number and Examiner name.
• Index documents into appropriate location within the claims database.
• Upload mail items, as indicated by requestor.
• Convert and upload emails, documents, and faxes to claims database.
• Process closed files.
• Transfer and record closed files to off-premises location.
• Retrieve old files and scan, as requested.
• Complete paper file conversion process.
• Prepare out-going mail.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience, preferred.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.

Compensation

The target salary range for this position is $41,600.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Onsite work environment.
