Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered after 90 days of employment, 401K after 6 months
Overview: As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, shipping outgoing product, and assisting the department in other tasks as necessary or assigned.
Job Functions
Work Environment: Heated shop floor environment, no air conditioning. Exposure to occasional fumes from paint, cleaners, adhesives or similar. PPE use is required. Some minor exposure to debris, dust, or other particulates can be expected.

Job Functions
- Coordinate the shipment of goods.
- Prepare shipping records.
- Create bills of lading.
- Post weight and shipping charges.
- Receiving incoming shipments of merchandise or materials.
- Route received goods to the proper departments.
- Utilize a forklift to complete tasks such as placing finished products in containers for shipping or storage.
- Will use or create appropriate packaging material to prevent damage or destruction of product.
- Ensures containers are closed, sealed, and labeled with proper identifying data.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred one year minimum in the machine tool industry or similar manufacturing environment.
- Functional knowledge of computers, especially ERP and/or shipping and receiving systems.
- Well organized with good written and verbal communications.
- Must be able to work independently and take specific direction as needed.
- Needs to be mechanically inclined as the position will utilize fork lifts, cranes, and hand tools periodically.
